Former Big Brother Naija housemate Segun “Sheggz” Olusemo has revealed that the highest amount he has earned from one brand deal as an influencer exceeds ₦100 million.
The disclosure was made during a recent appearance on Pulse Nigeria' s Drink or Spill series, where the UK- based reality star and content creator answered questions about his post- BBNaija career and success in the influencer space.
When asked about the most money he has received from a single brand deal, Sheggz responded: “Um, I think I' m very blessed, bro, to be honest. Probably over 100 M, to be fair. People in the comments are going to say I' m lying. I' m not lying. Like, for real. But, yeah, I' m really blessed. Like, honestly, I' m just really thankful to God.”
He explained that the figure includes international deals. “I have one or two deals that are outside Nigeria. So, you need to understand that if a company pays you 50, 60, 000 pounds, 70, 70,000 pounds, that' s over 100 million naira. So, I' m not necessarily saying brand deals in Naija. You said brand deals generally. So, yeah.”
Pulse Nigeria shared the moment on X, posting a clip with the quote: “The most I' ve gotten from a single brand deal as an influencer is over ₦100 million.” — Sheggz. The clip quickly circulated among fans and followers of the Nigerian entertainment and influencer scene.
Sheggz, who gained fame during the Level Up season of BBNaija in 2022, has built a portfolio of brand partnerships since leaving the house. Notable deals and ambassadorships include Chipper Cash (one of his early post- show partnerships), Bet 9 ja, itel (Itel Smart Life), Ashluxe/Ashluxury, and campaigns involving Heineken. Most of these deal values have not been publicly disclosed, making Sheggz' S disclosure notable.
The claim highlights how top Nigerian influencers and reality stars can command significant fees, especially when international brands are involved and currency conversion is considered. While some online reactions expressed skepticism, which is common with large self- reported figures in the industry, Sheggz framed the number as a reflection of consistent work and gratitude rather than a specific contract.
The interview also discussed broader topics, including his views on BBNaija alumni moving into Nollywood and pursuing other careers beyond acting. However, the endorsement figure has been the standout headline from the episode.
