Security personnel, traditional rulers, community leaders, and other stakeholders in Kajuru Local Government Area of Kaduna State have commended the Chairman of the council, Hon. Dauda Madaki, for his responsiveness to security challenges and commitment to promoting peace across the area.

The commendations were made during the Expanded Stakeholders' Security Dialogue held in Kasuwan Magani, where participants reviewed the security situation in the local government and explored strategies for sustaining ongoing peace and stability.

Several speakers at the meeting acknowledged the chairman's consistent engagement with security agencies, community leaders, and residents in addressing emerging threats and ensuring prompt responses to security concerns.

The Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Kasuwan Magani Division, SP Ahmad Dankane, praised the council chairman for maintaining close collaboration with security agencies and providing the necessary support required to enhance security operations within the area.

Similarly, the DPO of Kujuru Division, CSP Benjamin Ukoje, commended Madaki's leadership, describing him as a responsive and accessible leader who had demonstrated commitment to safeguarding lives and property.

According to the officers, the chairman's regular consultations with security agencies and stakeholders have contributed significantly to the improvement in the security situation across several communities in Kajuru.

Stakeholders at the dialogue also applauded the chairman's efforts in promoting community participation in security matters through regular engagements aimed at strengthening cooperation between residents and security personnel.

Speaking during the meeting, Madaki reiterated that security remained a collective responsibility and called on residents to continue supporting security agencies through intelligence sharing and vigilance.

He noted that while significant progress had been made in addressing insecurity, sustained collaboration among government authorities, traditional institutions, community leaders, and security agencies remained critical to achieving lasting peace.

The chairman assured residents that his administration would continue to prioritise security and support all initiatives designed to protect lives and property across the local government.

Also speaking, traditional rulers and community representatives commended the council's efforts in fostering dialogue and creating platforms through which communities could raise security concerns directly with relevant authorities.

They noted that the improved relationship between the local government, security agencies, and community leaders had enhanced confidence among residents and contributed to the gradual restoration of peace in many communities.

The stakeholders further pledged their continued support for security agencies and called for sustained collaboration to address the remaining security challenges in parts of the local government.

The security dialogue formed part of ongoing efforts by the Kajuru Local Government Council to strengthen community-based security mechanisms and consolidate the gains recorded in the area.
