Kaduna completes return of 2026 Hajj pilgrims as final batch arrives

Kaduna State has concluded the return airlift of its pilgrims from the 2026 Hajj exercise following the safe arrival of the last batch of pilgrims from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The final group of pilgrims landed in Kaduna after successfully completing all Hajj rites, bringing to an end the phased return operation coordinated by the Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency.

With the arrival of the final batch, all pilgrims from Kaduna State who participated in this year’s pilgrimage have now returned home.

The agency expressed gratitude to Almighty Allah for what it described as a successful Hajj operation and appreciated the support received throughout the exercise.

In a statement issued by the Public Relations Officer of the agency, Ibrahim Datti, the agency commended the commitment and support of Governor Uba Sani, the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), stakeholders, officials, medical personnel, security agencies and media organisations for contributing to the smooth conduct of the pilgrimage and return process.

The agency noted that the successful completion of the inbound airlift reflects Kaduna State’s continued commitment to improving services and ensuring the welfare of pilgrims during Hajj operations.

It added that the completion of the exercise marks another milestone in the state’s efforts to deliver efficient pilgrimage management and enhance the experience of intending pilgrims.
