Popular Nigerian interior designer and businesswoman Ehi Ogbebor described MC Oluomo as one of her closest friends in a candid interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo, released on August 19, 2026.
In the conversation, Ogbebor addressed long-standing public speculation about her relationships with married men. She stated that MC Oluomo (whose real name is Musiliu Akinsanya, and whom she calls Ayinde) is the only married man she would openly admit to dating. She explained his Muslim faith as context, noting that Islam allows multiple wives.
“MC Oluomo is one of my best friends. I have had two failed marriages. People always say I date married men. I do not snatch people’s husbands. Anything that makes me happy, I go for it,” she said.
Ogbebor also shared her personal history, revealing she has gone through two failed marriages. She described marrying at 18 to someone she barely knew and recounted suffering severe domestic violence in one of the unions, including an incident where she was beaten until she passed out.
The CEO of Sayaveth Interiors and Hotels has maintained a public friendship with the former Lagos NURTW chairman and current national president of the union in recent years, including congratulatory visits and birthday exchanges, even after their romantic relationship ended.
Ogbebor’s comments have sparked mixed reactions online, with some praising her openness and others criticizing her stance on dating married men. The interview is part of a broader discussion of her personal life including past controversies and her business success.
