On June 10, audiences in Mexico City, Toronto, and Los Angeles will experience linked live performances that celebrate the intersection of music, football, and culture.
For Los Angeles, a key host city for the tournament, the concert promises an unforgettable night. Crypto.comArena will transform into a vibrant hub where fans can anticipate chart-topping hits, infectious rhythms, and electrifying collaborations.
Davido, whose real name is David Adeleke, brings massive global appeal to the event. Known for hits like “Fall,” “If,” and “Unavailable,” the 30BG leader has become one of Africa’s most successful and influential artists, with a sound that blends Afrobeats, hip-hop, and pop. His selection underscores FIFA’s commitment to showcasing diverse international talent as the world prepares for the expanded 48-team tournament.
This isn’t Davido’s first rodeo with the world’s biggest football event. In 2022, he featured on the official Qatar World Cup soundtrack with the song “Hayya Hayya (Better Together)” alongside Trinidad Cardona and Aisha. He also performed at the tournament’s closing ceremony, cementing his status as a global ambassador for African music on the biggest stages.
His upcoming appearance in Los Angeles adds to a busy 2026 calendar that includes other FIFA-related activations, such as a performance at the Atlanta FIFA Fan Festival alongside CeeLo Green.
Tickets for the Los Angeles Countdown Concert go on sale starting June 3, 2026, and are available through AXS. With the event expected to sell out quickly given the star power involved, fans are encouraged to act fast.
