Cynthia Morgan Accuses Former Boss Jude Okoye of Wickedness

Nigerian singer Cynthia Morgan (also known as Madrina) has publicly accused her former record label boss, Jude Okoye, of being a “wicked” and “not a good human being,” describing herself as “a living witness of his wickedness.” The comments come amid the ongoing public feud between Jude Okoye and his brother Peter Okoye of P-Square.

Morgan, who was previously signed to Jude Okoye’s Northside Entertainment (also referred to as Northside Inc.), made the remarks via her Instagram page. She claimed Jude has the ability to “make the truth disappear either in front or behind the cameras” and positioned herself as someone with firsthand knowledge of the kinds of issues Peter Okoye has raised against his brother. She described Jude as toxic and divisive.

In her statement, Morgan said:

“If there is one thing I know about judeengees. I know for a fact that he can make the truth disappear either in front or behind the camera’s I am a living witness of his. so our only hope to getting the truth this time is the judiciary. So help them God wickedness. But the difference this time is he came with chats and emails. You see how he quickly said Peter is crashing out because he is going down that is how toxic and divisive he is. While in real sense even if I don’t listen to secular music anymore I saw Peter trending with his new song recently. Jude is not a good human being.”

This is not the first time Morgan has clashed publicly with Jude Okoye. Their dispute dates back several years to her time under his label around 2016. She has previously alleged that she was misled, financially shortchanged, had earnings diverted or withheld, and lost control of her stage name and other assets after the relationship soured. She has claimed repeated unsuccessful attempts to meet him in person and that he spoke negatively about her behind her back. In earlier statements she also referenced spiritual and personal frustrations stemming from the experience.

The latest comments appear timed to the renewed tension between the Okoye brothers. Morgan framed her intervention as support for seeking judicial truth rather than public narratives, while reiterating her long-held grievances.

As of the latest reports, Jude Okoye has not issued a public response to Morgan’s newest accusations. The broader conflict involving the Okoye family and former associates continues to draw significant attention in Nigerian entertainment circles.

Morgan’s career as a dancehall and rap artist saw notable visibility during her association with Northside Entertainment before the fallout. She has since continued releasing music and speaking publicly about her experiences in the industry.
