Caxton Hails Southern Kaduna Professionals Vision, Promises Strategic Partnership

Abuja — President of Ability Holdings, Dr. Caxton Danjuma Emmanuel, has commended the vision of the Southern Kaduna Professionals Forum (SKPF), pledging mentorship and strategic partnership to support the Forum's mission of promoting professionalism, innovation and sustainable development across Southern Kaduna.

Dr. Caxton made the pledge on Thursday while receiving the SKPF Award of Excellence during a courtesy visit by the leadership of the Forum in his Abuja office.

The award was presented by the President of the Forum, Arc. Samuel H. Yakubu, who said the honour was in recognition of Dr. Caxton's outstanding contributions to Nigeria's investment, insurance and real estate sectors, as well as his commitment to youth empowerment, entrepreneurship and national economic development.

Yakubu described the business executive as a distinguished Southern Kaduna professional whose achievements have continued to inspire young entrepreneurs and professionals across the country.

He said the Forum considered Dr. Caxton a worthy recipient because of his record of excellence in business, his commitment to developing human capital and his passion for creating opportunities through enterprise and mentorship.

"SKPF was established to identify, celebrate and connect accomplished professionals who are making meaningful contributions to society. Dr. Caxton's achievements in investment, insurance and real estate, coupled with his dedication to empowering young people, embody the values our Forum represents," Yakubu said.

He added that the Forum looked forward to building a long-term partnership with Ability Holdings in the areas of mentorship, leadership development, entrepreneurship and capacity building for professionals and young people in Southern Kaduna.

Dr. Caxton, an entrepreneur, insurance consultant, investor and real estate developer, has built a reputation in Nigeria's financial services and property sectors through Ability Holdings, where he has championed innovative investment solutions and business development initiatives. Beyond the corporate world, he is widely recognised for mentoring young entrepreneurs and supporting community development initiatives.

Responding to the honour, Dr. Caxton thanked the Forum for the recognition and expressed admiration for the progress it has made within a relatively short period.

"I have listened carefully to what you have achieved so far, and I must commend you. It is not enough to establish an organisation; what truly matters is the impact it creates. From what I have seen, your Forum is already making meaningful contributions through mentorship, networking and professional development," he said.

He urged members to preserve the Forum's identity as an independent, non-partisan professional body, warning against allowing political interests to overshadow its mission.

According to him, many organisations lose public trust when they abandon their founding ideals in pursuit of political ambitions.

"Let your work be driven by genuine passion and service, not by the desire for political appointments or elective office. If recognition comes because of your impact, that is commendable, but it should never be the primary motivation," he said.

The Ability Holdings President stressed that professionals should focus on building enduring institutions founded on integrity, competence and excellence rather than seeking political patronage.

He also encouraged Southern Kaduna professionals to support one another, mentor younger generations and leverage their expertise to contribute to the region's socio-economic transformation.

"As long as this Forum remains committed to professional development, youth empowerment and community advancement, you can count on my support. I am ready to partner with SKPF through mentorship, guidance and strategic collaboration to ensure more young professionals succeed," he said.

Dr. Caxton further advised members to remain confident in their abilities and embrace leadership opportunities, noting that Southern Kaduna possesses abundant human capital capable of competing nationally and globally.

The visit formed part of SKPF's ongoing engagement with accomplished professionals of Southern Kaduna extraction as the Forum seeks to strengthen collaboration, promote excellence and mobilise expertise for the development of the region.

The Southern Kaduna Professionals Forum is a non-political and non-religious organisation that brings together professionals from diverse fields to promote mentorship, innovation, leadership and sustainable development across Southern Kaduna.
