APC Group to Welcome Jerry Adams, Inaugurate 504 Polling Unit Executives in Kaura

A political support group within the All Progressives Congress (APC), Karkara Ta Asiwaju BAT da Uba Sani Cè 100% Kaduna State, has announced plans to hold a grand reception in honour of the party's Kaduna State Deputy Governorship Candidate, Comrade Jerry Adams.

The event, which will also feature the official inauguration of 504 APC Polling Unit Executives in Kaura Local Government Area, is scheduled to hold on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at the Kagoro Town Hall beginning at 10:00 a.m.

The announcement comes amid sustained excitement that has greeted Adams' emergence as Governor Uba Sani's running mate. Since the APC unveiled the immediate past Chairman of the Kaduna State Internal Revenue Service (KADIRS) as its deputy governorship candidate, congratulatory messages and celebrations have continued to pour in from party supporters and stakeholders across Southern Kaduna.

Political observers and party faithful described Adams' nomination as a strategic move by Governor Uba Sani, saying it has reinvigorated the APC's grassroots base in the region. They pointed to his reputation for administrative competence, accessibility and his performance during his tenure at KADIRS as factors that have endeared him to many party supporters.

According to the observers, Governor Uba Sani's choice of Adams was a political masterstroke that has strengthened the APC's prospects ahead of the 2027 governorship election.

They argued that his widespread acceptance across Southern Kaduna, coupled with his relationship with party stakeholders, would further consolidate support for the ruling party and position it for a strong electoral outing, while noting that the eventual outcome would ultimately be determined by the electorate.

Organisers of the event said the homecoming is intended to formally celebrate Adams' emergence as the APC deputy governorship candidate and further mobilise party members ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The programme will also serve as the platform for the inauguration of 504 APC Polling Unit Executives in Kaura Local Government Area as part of efforts to strengthen the party's grassroots structure.

The event will be chaired by the Director-General of the Mining Cadastre Office, Abuja, Engr. Obadiah Simon Nkom, while the Executive Chairman of Kaura Local Government Area, Hon. Obadiah Sankey, will serve as host.

The Convener of the group, Hon. Jonah Bonet, popularly known as "Pompo," said the gathering is expected to attract APC leaders, elected officials, political appointees and supporters from across Southern Kaduna and other parts of Kaduna State in a show of solidarity for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Uba Sani and the APC governorship ticket.

Invitations have been extended to all elected officials from Zone 3, federal and state political appointees from the zone, as well as APC state party executives.

The organisers urged party members and supporters to attend the event in large numbers, describing it as an opportunity to reaffirm the APC's unity and strengthen its grassroots mobilisation ahead of the 2027 general elections.
